[UFC] Universally Friendly Corsairs
UFC is leading new possibilities in text-based Total Battle. Our mission is to build, support and defend the development of a “party island” in kingdom 283 where players build clans that push the limits of Google Translator and Total Battle.
We swear our blood, treasure, and sacred honor to support the development of thematic clans, each with special activities that anyone in the world have an opportunity to enjoy. We warmly welcome any lawful players in Total Battle to consider building a theme clan here, or vacation in one! Make friends the world over in 283.
Examples of theme clans are not limited to:
[RTS] RoastMasters International — learn how to roast those you love and despise in good fun. Organize roasts to enrich your clan and kingdom.
[JAZ] Jazz Cafe — “There will be other lips that I may kiss… but they won’t thrill me like yours used to do! Yes, I may dream a million dreams, but how can they come true? If there will never ever be another you.”
[FRE] French Résistance — an empathetic, lawful good spymaster academy where up to 30 agents can train for up to 30 days for covert missions. Where the enemy attacks freedom and democracy, we watch, infiltrate, and exploit. Le Résistance was key in saving the future of humanity, and we will do whatever we can to honor their memory and sacrifice.
[THX] Treasure Heart International Airport — for anyone looking to visit or stay with a 283 clan but don’t have an invite, come hang out at the bar in THX. Good place to make some friends and decide on where you want to go! People say there’s alcohol, but we all know it’s a video game. There’s no actual alcohol. Kids are welcome at the bar. The airport is operated by retired French Résistance fighters and friends.
[OLB] Old Bastards — where men can talk dirty outside the presence of children.
[GNW] General Nodder’s Wardroom — legend has it the great General Nodder disappeared at Ibiza in 1996. Find them alive or authenticate their reincarnated descendants to restore their glorious playlists for syncopated Great Hunt bonuses and Tinman runs.
[TBR] The Betting Room — where friends indulge in bets on whatever you can imagine for prestige and RSS.
[DIS] Discord Central — all members play on discord and have more fun than the rest of us!

What makes a, “theme clan”?
Theme clans are built on several principles:
- It’s about fun, adventure, and exploration.
- It offers a couple uncommon or unique experiences you won’t find elsewhere.
- It’s either leading a new dimension of game between players, or is something that people outside a game would build a club around. People really organize and spend time in Cat Cafes, so that’s a great potential theme clan! If a clan called Killing Mics wanted to cook legendary spam posts in good fun, we will support them!
- If the theme is based on a warrior culture, it should be focused on specific, real world history.
DO:
French Résistance— real warriors with history that can be learned and respected. People go there for the unique experience of exploring ethical spy craft for the defense of democracy. Résistance fighters train between SKs and exploit SK to infiltrate the enemy.
[ZAP] Zaporozhian Cossacks — remembering and reliving their legendary rejections of foreign rule. Their words and weapons hurt! The strongest players who complete the RoastMasters program may apply.
Bengaluru Pitch House — where founders meet to find other founders for clans, learn about thematic clan formation, and earn support for their visions.
Versailles — where new rules are always made up in the form of étiqueté, and one slip equals a demotion!
DONT:
Drunken Vikings — not specific enough, not focused on history.
Demon Hunter Vanguard — not about real warriors, lacks historical significance.
Happy Dudes Looking for Good Times — nah!
Get creative! Brainstorm with your friends! No ideas are bad ideas. Bad ideas can be the seed for amazing ideas.
Under these standards, Universally Friendly Corsairs may not make the cut as a theme clan. We have to prove our status as a theme clan by providing the unique and fun experience of supporting and defending a party island, and pay attention to the history of corsairs around the world. Who were the friendliest corsairs? We will find out and enjoy our insights together!
We chose UFC because it helps communicate our goals. Theme clans transitioning between themes may use the UFC brand as they decide on their next name and mission set. For example, if [CAT] Cat Cafe is shutting down, they have the option indicate this by renaming themselves to [UFC] Cat Cafe (closed) while they decide on what they’d like to do next.
I’d like to setup a theme clan based on traditions in my home country, but they’re not well known by mainstream culture. Are my ideas welcome?
Absolutely. If your theme is fun and something people in your home country or culture do together, then we will support you. Sharing your traditions is one of the greatest gifts you can possibly give. Look forward to working with you!
Can I reform my ROE-abiding clan into a theme clan and move to 283?
Absolutely. Welcome home. 283 is a new kingdom and is currently open to its battle group, but we look forward to meeting you in our “real” kingdom chat, “283kc”! Look forward to hanging out.
